What we process

We process the selfie you voluntarily submit, event identifier, matching results, job status and—when using WhatsApp—the sender number required for delivery.

Why we process it

Your selfie is used to search the selected event’s private photo collection and create a personalized reel and prepare your private matched-photo delivery. It is not automatically published or added to the photographer gallery.

Retention

Temporary selfie files are deleted according to the configured retention policy. WhatsApp selfies are removed after processing. Private delivery access expires according to the event setting. Operational job records may be retained for support, fraud prevention and reporting.

Consent and withdrawal

Submitting a selfie requires a clear affirmative consent action for the selected event. You may stop the WhatsApp journey, withdraw consent or request deletion. Withdrawal does not invalidate processing already completed with consent, but we will stop unnecessary future processing where legally applicable.

Children and minors

A child or minor should use the service only through a parent or lawful guardian. Event organizers must obtain appropriate guardian permission before uploading or processing a minor’s media. Do not submit a child’s selfie without lawful authority.

Third-party providers

The service may use Meta WhatsApp Cloud API, Amazon S3/Rekognition, a video rendering provider and an automatic website-translation provider. When a visitor selects a non-English website language, new visible page text may be processed by that translation provider. To avoid repeated provider processing, translated output may be cached against a one-way source hash; the original visible source text is not retained in the translation cache. Each provider processes data under its own terms and the event organizer’s configuration.

Your choices and grievance contact

Do not submit a selfie unless you consent. Use the deletion request form inside your private delivery page, or contact the event organizer/platform support, to request access, correction or removal of your phone number, match references and reel link where legally applicable.
